tiny promises is a free, local-first app created by Paulo Carlos. It does not require an account, contain advertising, or use third-party analytics.

Information stored on your device

Your promise text, completion state, reminder settings, and voice recordings are stored locally on your device. Paulo Carlos does not receive or store this information on a developer-operated server.

Microphone and speech recognition

If you choose voice capture, tiny promises requests access to the microphone and Apple speech recognition so it can turn your spoken promise into editable text. These permissions are optional. You can change them at any time in iOS Settings.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, tiny promises uses local notifications scheduled on your device. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.

Data collection and tracking

tiny promises does not collect data, track you across apps or websites, sell personal information, or share personal information with advertisers.

Deleting your information

You can delete individual promises inside the app. Deleting the app removes its locally stored app data from your device, subject to your device backup settings.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated.
